Jersey Festival of Words is committed to removing barriers for all, regardless of your disability. If you need any additional help which is not listed, please contact info@jerseyfestivalofwords.org and we will do everything we can to make your visit as easy and stress free as possible.
WHEELCHAIR
Main venues have wheelchair access and spaces for wheelchairs plus carers can be booked by phoning the relevant box office.
DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING
The Freedom Centre and Jersey Arts Centre are fitted with induction loops.

There will be a reserved area in certain events for attendees who are hard of hearing and would like to lip-read at an event. Several events at the Freedom Centre will utilise speech-to-text.

BLIND OR VISUALLY IMPAIRED
We can send you the programme in Microsoft Word format, which can be enlarged, and is more easily read by text to speech software.

There will be a reserved area in the Freedom Centre for attendees who are visually impaired. At the Freedom Centre there will be trained sighted guides (with clearly-marked vests) on hand to assist.

TOILETS
Disabled toilets are available at our main venues.
